Steel Thunderfest

Like an air show... But for tanks
Project Overview
I’ve been to a couple of airshows, and they’re really cool seeing all those planes fly around like that. It got me thinking though, why don’t they do this for tanks? It turns out they do! In England however… Why not bring it to the United States? Steel Thunderfest is a festival for tank enthusiasts made by tank enthusiasts. This might be the largest scale project I’ve ever worked on since I had to make the branding, advertisements, and the website. I started with the branding as the other two parts would pull from it. I did some research by looking at a lot of tanks from the Cold War and trying to incorporate common elements I saw. The ads were made with a traffic theme, incorporating elements like signs, parking tickets, and asphalt roads. The website was made with an 80s computer style. I took some inspiration from the movie War Games and another movie, Tron. All these parts combine together to make something I actually want to go to!
