Roomdezvous

What would you get if you combined an interior design app with Google Maps? This is my take on such a mashup between two apps. I started by downloading a lot of interior design apps to see what components did what and how things were arranged. I then implemented features from those apps that I found to be intuitive and essential, my app’s project screen was influenced heavily in this way. The profile screen was influenced by profile screens of social media sites, such as X and Instagram. The Google Maps portion of the mashup was used to create a way to browse other designs nearby. The final mashup resulted in an app that, despite the strange combination, feels intuitive and fun to use.
